Students on Campus

Residence Life on any campus is a complex organization. With residents, RHA, NRHH, RAs, Hall Directors, Advisors, and other faculty and staff it takes a lot of committed people to make on-campus living a great experience. In this process, everyone has a different, yet important role. Much like a theatrical production, it takes a dedicated team to put together a truly great show.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts
- William Shakespeare, As You Like It, Act III Scene V

The theme Play Your Part seems especially applicable for the IACURH setting. There are so many people with such different roles coming together to represent their schools, learn, and network within the region so that they can bring what they've gained back to their campuses. This can be quite a task and each person approaches their role in their own way.

Whether you are a first-time delegate, RA, NCC, RHA President, NRHH Rep, advisor, or a veteran IACURH attendee, there are things you can teach and learn at IACURH 2013. Over the course of this conference, it is our hope that each of you becomes better equipped to play your part in Residence Life, whatever that part may be.

Whate'er thou art, act well thy part. - William Shakespeare
